PICTURES THAT I LIKE

This photo looks so simple, but that’s exactly what I loved of it, she looks so relaxed reading in company of her cat, that comforts me a lot and makes me want to be there listening what she is saying.

I love how the candles and the lights take over all the place, it seems like an enchanted forest or something like that, it makes me think that there everything you dream can come true, it is a beautiful scene.

This one is my favorite one, because we can appreciate the strength of the nature reflected on it. The curious eyes of this big cat makes me want to know what he is looking at but at the same time impose a lot of respect.

VIDEOS THAT I LIKE

I think it is amazing how elephants can make so strong bonds, them comradeship is impressive and the relationship that the baby have with his mother is simply wonderful. That is why I considered them as one of the best species in the world.

bonds/http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/wild/destination-wild/videos/toddler-tantrums-orangutan-style/

I liked this video because it shows how smarts orangutans can be, and also the toddler makes me laugh a lot, he was so cute! If people just can watch more of this kind of videos, they probably would start to care a little bit more of protect that beautiful species.

Blog post Nº 6: Why do I want to be a vet?

I remember my childhood surrounded by animals, I love them since I have memory and when someone asked me what is your dream job? My answer was always the same: ‘‘I want to be a vet’’, then I grow up and I realize that I love biology, so I think about study to be a biology teacher, but then I started to think about my future and I knew that there’s no another career that I’m going to enjoy more than veterinarian medicine, that’s definitely my passion, think about me in a few years working with cute animals all day, having the opportunity of work outside and not on a boring office really makes me so happy.

At the moment I’m in love with the career, the university is awesome and the people is amazing. It’s true that all the subjects require a lot of time and effort, but my motivation is that I’m making my dream possible and the experiences that the university, specially COPBA, give me really makes me know that I don’t want to be anywhere else.

Blog post Nº5: I picture that I like!

This picture was taken by one of my sisters in February of this year on our trip to Brazil. It shows us in a boat sailing around ‘‘Ilha Grande’’, on a tour that we take to know the island, that day was simply amazing, because we met a lot of great and funny people. In the photograph I’m next to my niece Isidora, behind her is my other niece Florencia and behind me is Caio lay down, Caio is a boy that we met in the boat and is the stepson of the captain, at the beginning he was shy and was on his own world, as you can see in the picture, but with a little bit of time he was laughing with us, we stopped in a few places to take pictures and jumped into the sea and some people, who took the tour too, start to talk to us, in just a day we could make a lot of friends. And that’s why I choose this picture, because it reminds me a great day, in a beautiful place with a bunch of nice people!

Blog Post Nº 3: My favorite things...

My favorite thing is a dolphin necklace.

My sister brought it to me from New Zeland when she comes back in 2015 after being 2 years there.
When I wear that necklace I feel connected to my sister, so I wear it or at least have it close to me when I feel sad or lonely.

I wear it all the time since she give it to me until December of last year when my dads gives me another necklace for my graduation.

I like it not just because it’s cute, I also like it because it’s made by the Maori, a tribe of New Zeland, they believe that dolphins give us protection and represent friendship, which for me it’s something pretty important.

My life without that necklace wouldn’t be the same, because at the end, it’s a metaphor, that necklace represent my bond with my sister, and I wouldn’t be who I am without her, she has been a protector to me and one of my best friends, just like dolphins to the Maori.

Blog Post Nª2: What's my opinion about...?

What is your opinion about violence on television?

I think that violence on television it's not something bad, I mean, there's a lot of people that can't handle it, but it's just fiction and we should know that. If you are too sensitive to watch that stuff, don't saw it, that's all.

What is your opinion about fortune telling?

I'm not someone superstitious, but I kind of' like to believe on that things, because it's funny and interesting, if someone read my fortune I'm not sure if I'm going to believe it, but I'm going to pay attention to it.

What is your opinion about recycling?

I'm completely agree with recycling because I think it's good not just for the environment, it's also good for our selfish way to live because it helps our species to be more time on the planet. Recycling plastic it's important because we're about the extinction of the petroleum which is fundamental for the manufacture of medicines.

What is your opinion about cloning?

I don’t agree with cloning, that just sucks, there are a lot of dogs that are waiting for a home and cloning just takes away their opportunities of that, the worst part, it’s just a whim of rich people.

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

I completely agree. And not just in some cases because I think women are the owners of her bodies and lives, if they don’t want to feel pain and ruin their dreams for a mistake, you can’t force it, it’s unfair. Also, we must keep in mind that the abortion takes place in a moment of pregnancy when there's no baby, just a punch of cells in development.

I was born in may 6th in 1999 (I'm 17 years old) in Santiago, Chile. I studied for 8 years on Colegio Santa Margarita de Escocia placed in Ñuñoa, a girls school, so I didn't have male friends until I change of school in 2013 to Colegio Apóstol San Pedro, located in Ñuñoa too, at the beginning it was really tough to me to get used to my new classmates, specially boys, I was so shy then, but now I don’t have problems with that.

In 2015 summer I take classes of dubbing and locution at PROVOZ, and I graduate with the best mark, then in 2016 I studied acting in front of cameras at Matus actores and I made a short film called ‘‘La Previa’’. Now I’m studying veterinary science at Universidad de Chile.
